We're believe our commentary line up ranks amongst the worlds best when it come to leading female voices and disability.  There's hardly a sport we don't cover and our team make for brilliant voice-over artists.

ELLEN ELLARD

Football, Athletics, Triathlon, Winter Sports

A versatile commentator

Ellen is one of the new voices behind the commentary mic in the UK and European sports market. Equally at home on athletics as she is football, she's even work on snow sports this winter.

In Venue Commentary

It's not just TV and Radio where Ellen excels. She has amassed a lot of experience working as a in venue commentator and announcer.

Ellen is one of the best emerging young broadcast talents in the UK, who is fast making a name for herself as a live reporter and commentator.


She has commentated on numerous athletics events for European Athletics, Night of the 10k which was streamed for BBC and US networks, plus has provided in venue commentary for on course supporters at the London Marathon.


A Peterborough Utd fan, Ellen has a great depth of knowledge on the EFL as well as the Women's Super League. She's commentated for the BBC, Sky and FA Channels.


In 2024, Ellen has also branched out into Winter Sports, working on Ski-Flying and Biathlon.


She'll part of the commentary team covering the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, for Olympic Broadcast Services


FLO POLLOCK

Football

A superb emerging Commentator

Flo has been working on Men's and Women's football for a few seasons gradually doing more games for national broadcasters. A great voice, Flo can be heard regularly on BBC 5Live and DAZN.

Flo started out covering non league football for her local BBC radio station, she's now moved onto covering WSL football for 5 Live Sports Extra and working on ITV's EFL highlights.

Flo is something of an emerging voice on live Football in the UK.


A decent player herself, Flo turned her hand to commentary through BBC Local Radio before becoming a regular in 2023/24 season with BBC Radio 5 Live. She's also a part of DAZN's coverage of the UEFA Women's Champions League, and has started to work for ITV.


Flo is still juggling her broadcast work alongside a career outside of sport.

ANDY STEVENSON

Golf, Snooker, Para Sport, Tennis, Football


A brilliant multi-sport Commentator

Andy is quite frankly one of the world's leading commentators who just so happens to be disabled. Golf, Football, Tennis, Snooker, Olympic and Para Sport there is little he can't do, and everything is done an exceptionally high standard.

A great interviewer

One of Andy's real strengths is getting the most of his guests he gets to talk to at events. Andy has a warmth which puts his guest at immediate ease.

Andy is a talented and versatile sports commentator, reporter and presenter. He also happens to be disabled, born in his own words 'without a full complement of limbs'.


An avid sports fan, Andy works on Football, Golf, Tennis, Snooker and has presented and led on the BBC's coverage at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. He works on Wimbledon, The Open, Final Score, as well as the 2022 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup as a commentator.


For 15 years Andy worked hard as a researcher, producer and editor for the likes of the BBC and C4 before finally believing what many industry experts were telling him, to give broadcasting a go himself! He hasn't looked back since.

KATHERINE DOWNES

Golf, Tennis, Aquatics, Figure Skating

A Multi-Sport Commentator

There's not much that Katherine can't turn her hand too ... Golf, Diving, Ice Skating, Tennis, and Netball are all sports that she regularly commentates on. Since 2021 she's been integral to the BBC Radio Golf Team, and now works regular on Sky Sports coverage of the DP, PGA and LET Tours.

Katherine has presented, reported and commentated on a range of sports for some of Europe's leading broadcasters.


A fabulous presence on and off camera she's a warm event host putting her audience and guests at immediate ease.


Katherine was part of the BBC Sport team that worked on the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympic Games and the 2018, 2022 Winter Olympics. She's a key member of The BBC's Wimbledon and Commonwealth Games output and can also be seen on Eurosport and C4. Katherine has also presented a range of news programmes, including BBC Breakfast.


A keen golfer, she's worked for the past two years on The Open, The Masters, The US Open, PGA Championship and the AIG Women's Open. In 2022 she was part of the successful 5 Live Sport Podcast series on the history of The Open Championship.


NAOMI CAVADAY

Tennis

A leading Tennis Commentator

Naomi moved into a world of broadcasting after calling time on her professional Tennis career. Initially she started as a co-commentator, but then moved into the lead role, where she quickly carved out a career with numerous rights parters.

A commentator with authority

As a former professional Tennis player Naomi won 6 ITF titles. She's been a strong advocate for Mental Health working with the LTA since retiring as a player on the circuit.

Naomi has emerged as one of the leading female Tennis commentators, working for TNT, BBC Radio, ATP, WTA and in 2024 she will be part of the new coverage on Sky Sports.


In 2023 she worked for Wimbledon Broadcast Services and she'll be part of the team covering the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.


Prior to working as a broadcaster, Naomi was a former professional Tennis player who reached a career high ranking of 174, achieved in May 2010, and won six ITF titles. She studied at the highly prestigious Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida.

CANDY REID

Tennis

A lead Tennis Commentator

Candy has a wealth of experience working as a broadcaster both in the UK and the USA. A regular of the ATP and WTA circuit Candy is equally as ease within television or radio commentary.

A fabulous host

It's not just Tennis that Candy has a vast amount of experience in. She's worked in studio, and on location covering both FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games.

Candy, a former Tennis Professional, has recently moved back to the UK after working in the United States as a broadcaster with CNN.


In 2022 she commentated on over 300 WTA & ATP matches and she started 2023 working in Melbourne at the Australian Open.


She has worked an anchor/presenter for CNN International Sports, at all the Major Tennis Events, covered 3 World Cups, and also Olympic Games.


Still a keen player, Candy has represented Great Britain at the Senior World Championships and she regularly coaches nationally ranked tennis juniors.


You'll hear Candy working on events around the globe as part of the ATP and WTP World Feeds.


Lindsey Chapman

Netball & Multi-Sports

A lead Netball Commentator

Lindsey has worked on some of Netball's biggest global events including The Commonwealth Games and World Cups in 2019 & 2023.

Comfortable on or off-camera

With a wealth of broadcast experience behind her Lindsey is just as ease courtside in-front of the camera as she is behind the mic on the gantry calling a match.

A fabulous host

It's not just Netball that Lindsey is known for. She has a growing portfolio and voice when it comes to leading the discussion around sustainability with sport and the impact of climate change.

Lindsey is a leading Commentator who moved into sports broadcasting to combine her love of playing Netball with her career as a well established broadcast presenter and reporter.


She's worked for the BBC and Sky Sports on their coverage of the events like the Commonwealth Games, The Netball World Cup and the Women's Superleague.


Her next ambition is to work on other sports at an Olympic Games, but her dream would be Netball being included in the biggest sporting event!
